Bulgaria's Ambassador to Poland Margarita Ganeva and Honorary Consul Jan Strawinski opened the first ever Bulgarian stand at St. Dominic's Fair in Gdansk, the Embassy said on its Facebook page. The tradition of the fair dates back to 1260.
A festival of equality, whose purpose is for people to get to know each other and learn tolerance and attentiveness to others, opened as part of the fair on July 29. The event was organized by the Youth Council of Gdansk, the Youth Assembly of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the International Fair in Gdansk. "Let's be curious about each other, let's get to know each other" was the motto of the festival.
Slavyana Holz and Yanoslav Chakarov, Bulgarian entrepreneurs in Poland, displayed traditional and organic products from the Rose Valley in Central Bulgaria, wines, spices and other products, the Embassy said.
