The conditions for mountain hiking are favourable on Friday, according to information provided to BTA by the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross on Friday morning. The weather is sunny, clear, and calm, with wind only at Botev Peak.

The Mountain Rescue Service reminds those wishing to hike in the mountains to take into account the change of season, as temperatures are lower in the fall, both in the morning and in the evening. 

Friday will have sunny weather over the mountains, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. There will be moderate to strong northerly wind. Highs will be around 19C at 1,200 metres and around 12C at 2,000 metres.
