site.btaTISP Following MRF’s Support Withdrawal: Good Riddance

There Is Such a People (TISP) floor leader Toshko Yordanov addressed the MPs from Democracy, Rights and Freedoms (Ahmed Dogan’s DRF) following their decision to withdraw their support for the government. 

“It is a great relief that you are leaving because we are tired of blackmail,” Yordanov said. He added that Delyan Peevski’s MRF-New Beginning are not in the Council of Ministers, nor in the Joint Governance Council.

In his words, DRF has been constantly making demands as junior partners in the government, including seats of ministers, deputy ministers, regional governors, and regulators.

According to Yordanov, the legislative programme of this government is late, precisely because DRF blocked the process by talking about posts and appointments.
