Minister of Youth and Sports Georgi Glouchkov bestowed honorary plaques upon the Bulgarian medalists from the Budapest Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships on Thursday.

Commending the athletes, Glouchkov said, "Your triumphs reflect your extraordinary abilities and have filled Bulgaria with joy". He acknowledged the athletes' work and dedication, expressing gratitude to the coaches and the federation's management. Glouchkov expressed confidence in the athletes' ability to represent the nation well and win more medals at the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.

Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation President Iliana Raeva thanked Minister Glouchkov for his acknowledgement and focus on the Bulgarian gymnasts' accomplishments. Raeva noted the sport's increased competitiveness in recent years and expressed confidence in a successful outcome at the Paris Olympic Games if routines were executed perfectly.

The Bulgarian team emerged victorious at the European Championships, securing the team title and winning three gold, two silver, and three bronze medals.
