site.btaCommemorative Coin Dedicated to Bulgarian Athletics' 100th Anniversary Goes into Circulation
On May 20, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) will put into circulation a silver commemorative coin on the 100th anniversary of the introduction of organized athletics in Bulgaria, the Central Bank said on Friday.
The price of the coin upon release will be BGN 150. Its face value will be BGN 10.
The BNB emblem, the years "1879" and "2024", the value of BGN 10, and an inscription "Bulgarian National Bank" will be depicted on the coin’s face. Three athletes, the number "100", and the inscriptions "100 years" and "Athletics in Bulgaria" will be depicted on the reverse side.
