Vice President Iliana Iotova was a guest at the tenth Sofia Library Writer and Reader of the Year Awards on Tuesday.

Asked by a journalist whether the political crisis is over with the election of a regular cabinet, Iotova said that she hopes so, adding that a strong political cabinet makes it clear who bears the responsibility and who takes the complexity of the decisions that lie ahead.

Asked what the stability of the government depends on, she said it depends on attention really being focused on solving many problems that are immediate - prices, water, electricity - and on having the courage to undertake serious and long-term reforms that need a very stable majority.
