BTA to Receive Sustainable Media Partnership Award from Sofia Library

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will receive an award for the decade (2014–2024) from the Sofia Library in recognition of its sustainable media partnership at the 10th award ceremony on Tuesday. Vice President Iliana Iotova is expected to attend the event.

The Bulgarian National Television, bTV and Nova Television will also be honoured in the Media category.

This year's awards include categories such as Reader of the Year, Writer of the Year, Poet of the Year, Most Read Author of Academic and Popular Science Literature, Most Read Author of Children's Literature, and Media. Special awards will be given to the most read authors of the decade: Georgi Gospodinov, Zachary Karabashliev, Stefan Tsanev, Zdravka Evtimova and Prof Tsocho Boyadzhiev. A special award will go to writer and editor Vladimir Zarev.

The following winners have been announced: Viktoria Beshliiska (Writer of the Year), Prof Nikolay Ovcharov (Most Read Author of Non-Fiction), Georgi Konstantinov (Most Read Poet), Tony Nikolov (Most Read Author of Books about Sofia) and Evgenia Voinova (Most Read Author of Children's Literature).
