For the first time Bulgaria will host a round of the SuperEnduro World Championship, commonly known as indoor enduro. The race, part of the celebrations for the Bulgarian Motorcycle Federation's (BMF) 100th anniversary, will take place in Sports Hall Arena Sofia on February 24.

Audiences on Saturday will see some of the best riders in the world, among whom Billy Bolt, Manuel Lettenbichler, Cody Webb, Cooper Abbott, Dominik Olszowy, Jonny Walker, as well as two dozen Bulgarian hopefuls in both Junior class (U14) and older. The riders will compete for the first ever Republican SuperEnduro Cup in Bulgaria.

Representatives of 18 countries (USA, Germany, Poland, UK, Italy, Spain, Romania, South Africa, Chile, Sweden, Hungary, Mexico, France, Austria, Portugal, Israel, Slovakia and Belgium) will take part in the 2024Grand Prix Bulgaria.

Indoor Enduro or Endurocross is a motorcycle race, a combination of supercross and enduro racing, held indoors on a course with artificial obstacles. It gained significant popularity in Bulgaria, especially after Teodor Kabakchiev won two World Championship Races in the 2019/2020 season.

Bulgaria will be making its debut as a host of the Enduro World Championship thanks to the efforts of BMF President Angel Trakov, BMF Enduro Committee Chair Desislav Tsekov, National Extreme BG X-Enduro Championship promoter Bijo Bijev, Teodor Kabakchiev and the Ministry of Sports.
