Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov reached the final at the Brisbane International from the ATP 250 Tournaments with a prize purse of USD 661,585. 

Second seed Dimitrov defeated Jordan Thompson in two sets (6:3, 7:5) in 1 hour and 47 minutes. 

Dimitrov, who won the Brisbane tournament in 2017, will face top seed Holger Rune. Since opening with a tough win over Andy Murray, Dimitrov has only conceded eight games. 

Rune took victory over Roman Safiullin in two sets.
