site.btaGovernment to Support Financially Private Stadiums

GERB Leader Boyko Borissov said that the state will support financially private stadiums or municipalities which invest in new sports facilities. Borissov visited Plovdiv, where he commented on the allocation from the state budget for the completion of the Hristo Botev and Lokomotiv stadiums. He specified that together with Finance Minister Assen Vassilev decided to aid the construction of more facilities. 

"We provided BGN 33.5 million together with Assen Vassilev, Kiril Petkov, Hristo Ivanov, Atanas Atanassov and Delyan Peevski," said Boissov. 

Shortly afterwards he visited the Lokomotiv stadium where he was welcomed by Lokomotiv FC legend Hristo Bonev and said that the government has set aside BGN 42 million for the facility.
