site.btaBulgarian Judoka Win Three Medals at Skopje Junior European Cup

Bulgarian judoka won two silver and one bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Skopje (Republic of North Macedonia) on August 12-13.

In the 48 kg weight class final, Sofia Rangelova lost to Ana Cobanovic (Serbia) and took silver.

Boyan Yotov (66 kg) also took silver. Mariyan Palev (73 kg) took bronze.

Three Bulgarian judoka - Hristo Valkov (81 kg), Veronika Petkova (78 kg) and Polina Koleva (+78 kg) - ranked fifth in their weight classes.

Gancho Doykov led the Bulgaria team.
