GERB Leader Boyko Borissov told journalists in Parliament on Wednesday that there are two proposals regarding pensions increase. He explained that the Swiss rule should be applied to nearly a million pensioners with small pensions. [According to the Swiss rule, pensions are adjusted annually by 50% of the previous year's inflation and 50% of the growth of the average contributory income]. For the rest, increase should be greater than inflation. 

Borissov added that this is allowed by the budget and that with lower inflation, the increase would be greater, because it would be a percentage above inflation.
