site.btaBulgarian Stand at FITUR 2025 Tourism Exhibition in Madrid to Feature Photo Booth, Delicacies and Wines

Bulgaria will be among the leading participants in FITUR 2025, one of the largest and most important international tourism exhibitions, which will take place in Madrid, Spain, from January 22 to 26, 2025. This is a key event for the global tourism sector, which will bring together representatives of over 9,500 companies and 156 countries, the Ministry of Tourism said. 

The Ministry of Tourism reports that in 2024 there was a significant increase in visits by Spanish tourists. The total number of non-transit visits reached nearly 103,000, and those registered in accommodation facilities were about 70,000. This represents an increase of 41.7% compared to the same period in 2023 and 21% compared to 2019.

At the upcoming FITUR 2025 exhibition, the Bulgarian stand with an area of ​​150 square metres will present cultural and natural landmarks, modern initiatives for sustainable tourism, as well as attractive tourist offers.

A total of 19 tourism companies and municipalities will participate at the stand. There will be a photo corner where visitors will be able to take pictures against the backdrop of various landscapes and landmarks of the country. Everyone will receive their photo as a souvenir, also available in digital format, which can be shared with the hashtag #DiscoverBulgaria on social networks.

In addition, the stand will organize professional tastings of Bulgarian traditional delicacies and high-quality wines, including unique varieties such as Mavrud.
