Nineteen international companies have expressed interest in participating in the tender announced by Bulgargaz for the supply of LNG for the months of January and February 2025 at the terminal in Alexandroupolis, Greece. For the period of 24 months from January 20, 2018, the Bulgarian Gas Terminal will be open for bidders for the period of 24 months from January 20, 2018. All the candidates met the criteria set by Bulgargaz and were admitted to participate in the next stage of the tender procedure - submission of binding offers. In mid-November it will be clear which companies have submitted the most competitive bids.

At the end of August, Bulgargaz announced three tenders for the supply of a total of 5,000,000 MWh of LNG within its reserved capacity at the Alexandroupolis terminal. In the first tender, for the month of October, ten international companies showed interest, and in the tender for November and December a total of 13 international companies participated. Bulgargaz expects the increased interest to result in competitive prices for the company's customers during the winter period.
