Bulgaria’s Youth and Sports Minister Georgi Glouchkov has conferred with his Montenegrin counterpart Dragoslav Scekic, Glouchkov’s Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. The discussion focused on opportunities for future bilateral cooperation in the areas of youth and sports.
Glouchkov emphasized the region’s strong sports culture, noting that sport plays a key role in maintaining national morale. He was confident that the two countries could enhance their activities through joint cooperation in sports and youth initiatives.
Scekic praised Bulgaria's advancements in youth policy, adding that that the experience of their Bulgarian counterparts, particularly in the context of EU programmes, would be highly beneficial for his team.
The meeting was also attended by Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Petar Mladenov, who presented the main highlights of the national youth policy.
