The National Employment Agency (NEA) Monday reported registered unemployment of 5.3% in June, down 0.1 percentage points from May.
At the end of June, the number of unemployed individuals registered at the labour offices was 150,990, down by 3,281 from May.
The unemployed individuals who found jobs in June were 2,423 fewer than in May. Labour offices helped 428 pensioners, students and employed persons find a job, NEA added.
Nearly 19,800 unemployed registered with the labour offices, up by 7.7% from May. A further 2,820 jobseekers - employed persons, students and pensioners - also registered with the labour offices. In June, 596 fewer people from this group sought NEA's services compared with May.
More than 4,380 inactive individuals were integrated into the labour market through the efforts of Roma and youth mediators, along with labour intermediaries.
The sectors with the largest number of vacancies were manufacturing (27.3%), general government (13.7%), trade (12.1%), education (10.2%) and hospitality (8.6%). Demand was highest for care workers, personal services workers, stationary machinery operators and motor vehicle drivers.
In June, 3,072 individuals from at-risk groups found subsidized jobs.
