site.btaBulgaria to Cover Inflation Criteria for Eurozone until End of Year, Says Deputy Finance Minister Metodi Metodiev

Caretaker Deputy Finance Minister Metodi Metodiev said that mid-2025, Bulgaria will be ready for the Eurozone.

"Our estimates indicate that by the end of the year, Bulgaria will meet the inflation criteria for the Eurozone, which will give us the opportunity to request an extraordinary report," said Metodiev during the 15th edition of the The Noise of Money economic and business forum, which takes place on Tuesday in Sofia.

It is extremely important to maintain stable finances, to work towards the fulfillment of the criteria, Metodiev added.
