site.btaThrace University Participates in EP Workshop on Agricultural Policy

A delegation of Trakia University in Stara Zagora, led by its Rector, Prof. Dobri Yarkov, took part in a workshop on agricultural policy in Europe in the European Parliament in Brussels on February 14, the University said in a press release Thursday. 

Yarkov is quoted as saying that the strategy of Thrace University is to promote hybrid specialities and offer education that meets the requirements of businesses. "Our priorities in science are fully aligned with the latest national and European strategic goals related to health care; science to promote the model of inclusive and sustainable growth, entrepreneurship and innovation and the development of sustainable economies; digitization and industry," he pointed out. 

On the topic of the EP workshop, Yarkov emphasized that the holistic approach to economic growth, the transfer of innovations and transparency in public dialogue are points of reference for reforming a common agricultural policy.
