There will be a third no-confidence vote against the government after the holidays, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov told journalists on the sidelines of the National Assembly on Thursday, after Parliament rejected the second no-confidence vote against the Zhelyazkov cabinet - for failure in the fight against corruption.
“The issues which are the most pressing are energy and internal security… We will make consultations with the opposition parties. We will also include Democracy, Rights and Freedoms (DRF), but we will not seek support from CC-DB because they are part of the government,” the MP said.
“The result of the vote is not surprising, but this does not discourage us because we have already seen a completely new situation, there is a new majority, which is headed by [MRF-New Beginning leader] Delyan Peevski, who now controls the quorum… The only ones who support it are CC-DB and Peevski, which is indicative of their close symbiosis. Today once again CC-DB supported the government,” Kostadinov said.
