April 18

Broken clouds to predominantly sunny in the Western and Central regions. In the afternoon, prevailing clouds might result in precipitation, with possible thunderstorms. More substantial showers expected in the mountains.

Light to moderate east-southeasterly wind; during the day, west-northwesterly wind in the Western half of the country bringing cooler air. Lows: 7C – 12C, in Sofia: 10C. Highs: 19C-24C, in Sofia: 19C. 

THE COAST: Predominantly cloudy, showers unlikely. Light to moderate east-southeastern wind. Highs: 12C-14C. Seawater temperature 9C-10C.

THE MOUNTAINS: Before noon - predominantly sunny. In the afternoon in Western mountain areas prevailing clouds might result in precipitation, rain showers and thunderstorms.  Moderate south-southeasterly wind; in the evening – northwesterly, bringing cooler air. Highs above 1,200 m: 15C, above 2,000 m: 6C.

April 19

Substantial clouds, in the afternoon prevailing clouds might result in precipitation mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria, with possible thunderstorms. Moderate west-northwesterly wind, strong in the Danube Plain. Lows: 6C-11C. Highs: 16C-21C.

By night the rain will stop, the clouds will clear during the night, the wind will quiet down, at midnight temperatures: 10C-15C.

April 20

Predominantly sunny. Light south-southeasterly wind during the day. Temperatures lower by 2-3 degrees in the morning, but higher during the day.
