site.btaInnovation, E-Government Ministers to Participate in Ministerial Meeting on Digital Transformation in Bucharest May 22

Caretaker e-Government Minister Georgi Todorov and caretaker Innovation and Growth Minister Alexander Pulev will participate in a ministerial meeting on digital transformation on May 22. The meeting is within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) Summit, the two ministries said Saturday.

The event, taking place in Bucharest at the Parliament building, will bring together representatives of the governments and parliaments of the countries participating in the Three Seas Initiative with stakeholders from Europe and the United States, with the aim of improving the digital dimension of the 3SI and exchanging ideas in preparation for the Summit and Business Forum in autumn.

On May 22, Todorov and Pulev will hold a meeting with their Romanian counterpart Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization. 

The 3SI aims to support the economic development of Central and Eastern European countries by encouraging public and private investment in projects aimed at developing and strengthening energy, transport and digital connectivity between the countries of the initiative.
