Valeria Veleva will present her books Wounds of Power and Ah, This Power in Veliko Tarnovo on the International Book and Copyright Day, April 23, the organizers of the meeting said on Tuesday.

The event will feature the special participation of Ivan Granitski and will be one of the highlights in the programme of the tenth edition of the Foyer of the Book with Autograph, organized by the Regional Library in Veliko Tarnovo.

In her collection Wounds of Power Veleva presents some of her interviews after the release of the two volumes about Bulgaria's transition to democracy, Men in Power and Confessions in Slippers. Ah, This Power contains 127 selected articles and comments by Veleva, which were published in news outlets Trud, Presa and Epicenter.bg.

Veleva worked at as chief editor at the Bulgarian National Television, the newspapers Dneven Trud and Presa, as well as Epicenter.bg. She is the author many books, including Men in Power and Lili Ivanova. My Personal Diary. She was awarded the Reporter of the Year Award in 1995 and 1996.
