The OMNI Human Development Platform, Bulgaria's first platform helping companies to find valuable employees and students to find career development using artificial intelligence (AI), was presented Wednesday at a business event at the House of Europe in Sofia. The platform powered by AI helps students find the right work engagement while also assisting businesses in finding staff, organizers said.
The event was opened by OMNI Founder Vaska Baklarova and the economic advisor to the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria, Neno Nenov. The platform's advantages were presented to partners such as Konica Minolta, Commerzbank and Schwarz IT.
Baklarova described OMNI as "a platform for sustainable business development’, adding that its mission is to create an integrated, dynamic business community that welcomes and trains young people.
Nenov said that Bulgaria does not have good specialists in many areas and therefore this country cannot use its full potential. With the assistance of companies, OMNI partners and supporters, Nenov aims to develop 200,000 experts from students hired through the platform in the next five years.
When it becomes harder and harder for businesses to find valuable employees and students are struggling to even get started in their careers, the OMNI platform is using the AI power to help solve this problem, the organizers said. Thanks to AI algorithms, the platform connects businesses with job-seeking students according to their strengths, qualifications and desires.
The new platform also has its own mechanisms to track the successful connection between businesses and students. OMNI will also hold meetings with the companies that have hired students to ensure that everything is going well for both sides.
