The Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Yordan Kamdzhalov continue for the second consecutive year the national tour "Music Magic". The soloist of the concerts is clarinettist Atanas Marinov, a Bulgarian living in Switzerland, supported by the "Yordan Kamdzhalov" foundation, the cultural institute told BTA.
Music lovers will hear masterpieces of classical and romantic music. The programme includes some works which will be heard for the first time in the halls and summer theatres during the tour.
"The concept absolutely reflects the energy of the title "Music Magic" - fulfilling art’s mission to touch people, to spontaneously bring them to their feet and make them applaud in rapture the soloist and the orchestra led by maestro Kamdzhalov. The programme is very varied with works by Pancho Vladigerov, Strauss, Paganini, Bizet, Sarasate, Brahms, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and others. Soloist Atanas Marinov is recognized for his incredible talent all over the world," the Pleven Philharmonic said.
The first concert of the tour is on Monday in Pleven, followed by Troyan on July 2, Veliko Tarnovo - July 3, Gabrovo - July 4, Skobelevo – July 5, Lovech - July 9, Sozopol – July 22, Karnobat - July 24, Burgas - July 25, Nessebar - July 26, Yambol - September 10, Sliven - September 11, and Kyustendil on September 12.
The tour of Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Kamdzhalov "Music Magic" 2024 is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the orchestra.
