An international exhibition of contemporary miniprints called Intercultural Dialogue will be held at the Mission Gallery in Sofia between June 27 and August 15. It has been organized by Miniprint Kazanlak.
The exhibition will feature 132 artists from 42 countries on five continents. It can be described as a festival of the diversity and the unity of contemporary world miniprint art, the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.
The show presents a wide range of classical, digital and experimental techniques. Each work has its own voice that communicates with the rest, and together they highlight the interconnection between tradition and innovation and their mutual influences in the constantly evolving landscape of miniprint art.
The event is aimed to promote intercultural understanding. Intercultural Dialogue throws bridges between art techniques and conceptual approaches, and creates space for communication among artists, art lovers and critics.
