The British band Editors will perform in Sofia on August 29. The gig will take place on the stage of Arena Sofia in Borisova Gradina park as part of the Sofia Solid concert series, the organizers from Fest Team said.

The band was scheduled to perform in the Black Sea city of Burgas last summer, but the concert was cancelled due to unforeseen logistics issues.

Editors have been in the public eye for two decades now. Along the way, they have received platinum and gold records, earned Mercury and Brit nominations, sold out tours, and earned a reputation of being among the best live bands around, the organizers added. Their international success can be attributed not only to Tom Smith's iconic baritone vocals and captivating stage presence or their ability to write great riffs and rock anthems, but also to their boldness when it comes to experimenting. Editors have never been a band that does what is expected of them. The songs on their latest, seventh album, unconventional and exciting, full-blooded electro-industrial rock, are another testament to this, Fest Team noted.
