site.btaHigh School Student from Yambol Wins Gold Medal at International Mathematics Olympiad in Malaysia

Tenth-grader Bozhidara Amudzhieva from Yambol won a gold medal at the International Mathematics Olympiad in Malaysia, which was held from December 26 to 30, 2023, the "Atanas Radev" High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the southeastern town said.

Bozhidara's success is well-deserved amid strong competition from hundreds of top mathematicians from many countries. In addition to a gold medal, she also won a trophy for the top result as first runner-up champion. The medallist is expected to tell more next week when she returns from Malaysia, her high school added.

Bozhidara Amudzhieva has won numerous prestigious international mathematics competitions. She won her first gold medal in second grade at the 2016 Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad.
