An exhibition of sculptures by Vaska Emanouilova will be presented in a gallery named after the artist in Sofia. The exhibition "Images of Time" will be on display from November 8, 2023 to February 11, 2024, the organizers said on Monday.

"The focus of the exhibition is the work of Vaska Emanouilova from the period immediately after the 1950s. During these years she established herself as one of the most successful women sculptors in Bulgaria. In terms of her work, this was a prolific period. She was fascinated by themes from the intimate and personal space - motherhood, the presence and role of women, the dreamlike world of children's fantasies," noted the exhibition team.
