site.btaPlovdiv Hosts Virtual Journey through Morocco

The Municipality of Plovdiv and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bulgaria will present a virtual journey through the North African country in the Boris Hristov House of Culture here on Monday evening. The event will be opened by Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bulgaria, said the press service of the municipal administration.

Visitors will experience the culture of Morocco by tasting Moroccan cuisine and tea. The ladies of Folk Ensemble Dilyanka will show off traditional kaftans worn by Moroccan women. These hand-sewn garments are only worn on special occasions.

A part of the event will be photographer Minko Mihaylov's exhibition entitled Morocco - Inspiration in Colours. The images were shot over a period of 10 years and include landscapes, portraits, architecture and urban photography.
