Michael Jackson's hits, including Man in the Mirror, Human Nature, Earthsong, and Billie Jean, will be performed in a symphonic arrangement by Roberto Molinelli for the Michael Jackson: Thriller - The Story and Legend of the King of Pop musical, Monte Music said on Friday. The production is visiting Sofia on November 17.

The Italian conductor, composer and violist is known worldwide for his ability to compose and realize projects of all musical genres, from classical to jazz, pop and rock, successfully bridging dialogue between different styles.

The production highlights particular stages of the Michael Jackson's life that would be of interest to the generation that did not witness it. Fame and fortune are the ultimate goal for many, but they are not easily achieved and demand their sacrifices. That will emerge from the brief text transitions that accompany the show. Highlights from Michael Jackson's life and career, his music with an appreciation of now and a look into the future, are inspiring, say the organizers.

The musical will be staged in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. 

The Italian production will be staged in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. The show, created in 2022, is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the release of Thriller - the best-selling album of all time. Italian singers Clarissa Vichi and Mattia Sascha will play the main roles, Maestro Molinelli will direct the orchestra of the Varna State Opera.
