An exhibition of book Illustrations by Boris Stoilov will be unveiled at Arsenal of Art gallery in Plovdiv (South Central Bulgaria) on November 9. Featured in the Once Upon a Time exhibition are illustrations from the books Egyptian Fairy Tales, Indian Fairy Tales, and Chinese Fairy Tales, as well as sketches that did not make it into the books, the Iztok Zapad publishing house said.

Boris Stoilov was born in Plovdiv in 1962. He graduated in graphics at Sofia's National Art Academy in 1989. Since 1991, he has illustrated over 1,500 children's and adult books. He also works as a freelance painter. He has participated in joint and individual art exhibitions. Graphics by him are part of private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Canada, Poland, and Sweden.
