Bulgarian musician Daniel Stoyanov, known by his artistic pseudonym Bulgarian Cartrader, is among the 15 nominees for the Music Moves Europe (MME) awards, according to the official website mmeawards.eu.

The MME awards are the European Union's prize for emerging artists who represent the European music sound of today and tomorrow. The awards aim to accelerate the international careers of emerging European artists.

In addition to Bulgarian Cartrader, the competition draws musicians from Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Winners in previous years include Dua Lipa, Stromae, The Haunted Youth, Queens.

Music fans across Europe can vote on the MME awards website. Last year's People's Choice Award went to Jerry Heil from Ukraine, who will become a jury member of the awards for 2024.

Five finalists will be selected by the international jury. They will each receive EUR 10,000 and the grand prize winner will also receive an additional EUR-5,000 tour voucher. The winner of the MME Choice Award category will receive EUR 5,000.

The award ceremony is on January 18 in Groningen, the Netherlands. All fifteen nominees are invited to perform at the ESNS Festival there, and to take part in the MME training programme with some of the best practices in the music industry, organised by ESNS and the award partners - Liveurope, Yourope, Live DMA, IMPALA, Digital Music Europe, ICMP- CIEM, International Music Managers Forum (IMMF) and European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE).

Bulgarian Cartrader will perform his first concert in Bulgaria on November 11.
