Varna State Opera Ballet is returning to Mexico with a new title - Cinderella, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Mexico announced on its Facebook page on Thursday.

"The best of classical dance will tour the country from October 14 to November 19 in the most important cities of Aguascalientes, Baja California, Durango, State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Michoacan, Nuevo Leon, Queretaro, Tlaxcala, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Sonora, Veracruz, Yucatan," the diplomatic mission added.

In Mexico City, the ballet Cinderella will be presented at the Teatro Metropolitan on November 10.

The production closely follows the plot of the fairy tale, but the choreographer Svetlana Tonsheva introduces new elements corresponding to the events and characters of the characters. The main roles are played by Pinja Rissanen as Cinderella, Pavel Kirchev as the Prince, Elia Davaolio is the stepmother, Letizia Rossetti and Elisa Gomez are the two sisters.
