site.btaSofia's Rakia Museum Hosts Tasting Event

The Rakia Museum in Sofia will host a tasting event on October 27-28, the organizers said on Tuesday. There will be several types of rakia, digestifs, cocktails, liqueurs, and appetizers.

Visitors will be able to see a prototype of the highest still for rakia production in Bulgaria, a model of the oldest clay cauldron, the largest collection in Bulgaria, including over 300 types of rakia, brandies, grappas, pisco. Ancient rakia production tools and processes will also be displayed.

Audio guides about the exhibits will be provided.

There is an admission fee for the event and pre-booking is required.
