Head of State Radev Awards Presidential Honorary Sign to Prominent Bulgarian Figures in Culture, Education and Sport

President Rumen Radev awarded his honorary sign to prominent Bulgarian figures in culture, education and sport here on Tuesday.

The award was presented to Evrika Foundation Executive Director Boriana Kadmonova. The Prisedent’s press secretariat said she was honoured for her significant contribution to Bulgarian science, technology and entrepreneurship.

The Blagoevgrad College of Tourism President Prof. Vasil Zhechev was honoured for his significant contribution to the development of higher education, sport and tourism.

The honorary sign of the head of State was also awarded to the choreographer Assoc. Prof Georgi Hinov. He was awarded for his significant contribution to the Bulgarian folk dance art.

Maestra Darena Popova, the conductor of the Angel Manolov Academic Choir at the National Student House, was awarded for her significant contribution to the development of Bulgarian choral singing.

The folk singer Zlatka Stavreva was awarded the President's Honorary Sign for her significant contribution to the development of Bulgarian folk singing.

Prof. Stoyan Denchev, lecturer and scientist, was honoured for his significant contribution to the development and modernization of higher education and on the occasion of his 70th anniversary.
