Francesco Bearzatti will perform at the Varna Summer International Jazz Festival on July 30, the Italian Embassy said on Tuesday. The Italian saxophonist will play alongside bass player Danilo Gallo and drummer Stefano Tamborrino.

The musician will present his latest album Post Atomic Zep, released in April 2023, which is a reinterpretation of the renowned rock band Led Zeppelin.

Bearzatti was born in 1966. He studied clarinet at the conservatory, in Udine, and later continued his studies at Jazz Mobile in New York.

In 2003, Bearzatti was voted Best New Talent in a Top Jazz poll held by the Italian specialist magazine Musica Jazz. In 2010, his X(suite for malcolm) was awarded as the best album of the year in the Top Jazz and as the best album by the Jazzit Awards in Italy.
