Continue the Change (CC) will file a report to the European Public Prosecutor's Office on allegations made by European Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva, party Co-Chair Assen Vassilev told journalists in parliament on Friday. He said a copy of the report will be submitted to the Bulgarian prosecution service.

He described as "very disturbing the information that has emerged in the public domain that she was pressured by Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski". In her interviews with Capital.bg and 24 Chasa on Thursday, Georgieva said she felt threatened by Peevski and that he had pressured the contractors on the expansion of the Chiren gas storage facility, which was investigated by the EPPO. Later in the day, the MRF - New Beginning Floor Leader said he had nothing to do with this case and that he will appeal before the prosecution service against the allegations.

Vassilev added that, according to Georgieva, Peevski demanded a bribe of BGN 20 million from contractors of the Chiren gas storage expansion project.

The CC Co-Chair insisted on an investigation into Georgieva's allegations and said that Peevski should be stripped of his MP immunity if necessary.
