Vazrazhdane will be joining forces with two other groups in Parliament, Velichie and MECh, to push through a no-confidence motion against the Cabinet. This transpired from remarks by Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov to the press in Parliament Wednesday, as he said that the no-confidence motion will be undersigned by MPs of the three parliamentary groups.

Vazrazhdane has proposed the no-confidence motion over the Government's foreign policy.

Kostadinov said that all 33 MPs of Vazrazhdane have signed the motion, as well as the 10 of Velichie, and talks are underway with MECh "because they want to add to the reasoning", said Kostadinov. His advice to MECh is to move their own no-confidence motion after Vazrazhdane's. "It will be good to create more opportunities [for oust the government]," he said.

Kostadinov, however, admits that he is aware of the zero chance of the motion to go through. "The motion can't pass, mathematically. But it does not mean we should abandon an opportunity to present our arguments. A no-confidence motion is the strongest instrument in the hands of the opposition and we are going to use it," he said.

In a Facebook post setting out the reasoning for the motion, Vazrazhdane writes that "instead of defending the national interest, the government blindly follows the confrontational line of the liberal elite in Brussels, ignoring the desire of the Bulgarian people for peace, neutrality, and dialogue". "Under the pressure of external forces, Bulgaria was drawn into a foreign geopolitical conflict, without public consent and without strategic benefit for the country. Sanctions against the Russian Federation continue to inflict heavy damage on the Bulgarian economy, while huge budget funds are redirected towards military aid instead of healthcare, education, and social support," the post reads. A further argument they raise is "an outrageous inaction by the government" followed the death of a Bulgarian UN worker in the Gaza Strip. Vazrazhdane demands the immediate resignation of the government and "a return to foreign policy based on national sovereignty, the pursuit of the welfare of the Bulgarian people, and support for every peaceful initiative on the international stage".
