No Bulgarians Reported as Injured after Devastating Earthquake in Myanmar

There are no reports of Bulgarian citizens injured in the earthquake in Myanmar, which has killed at least 100 people and caused the collapse of a skyscraper in Bangkok, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BTA on Friday. The Bulgarian Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam, is monitoring the situation.

The Crisis Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a message via its website to all Bulgarians who have registered in Thailand. So far, every response received has been that its sender needs no assistance.

In case of need for assistance, Bulgarian citizens in Myanmar and Thailand can contact the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Hanoi at Embassy.Hanoi@mfa.bg or at +84 24 3845 2908 and +84 24 3846 0856.
