site.btaOver 130 Cyclists to Compete in Mountain Bike Race in Stara Zagora

Stara Zagora will host for a second consecutive year the XCM Oppening Season 2025 mountain bike race on Saturday. To compete are over 130 participants from across Bulgaria, the organisers said Friday.

The start on the track of some 30 km will be given at 10 a.m. That will be the first race for this year's cycling season.

The participants are divided into two groups - Hobby and Elite, the latter with eight different categories. The winners will receive vouchers or non-monetary awards; additional races and awards are planned for the most technical cyclists.

The event is organised by the Surnena Gora - Stara Zagora Club for Cycling and Tourism, with the support of the Surnena Gora Tourist Association and Stara Zagora Municipality.
