Hiking conditions are poor in the high mountains. The weather is foggy and cloudy, the Mountain Rescue Service (PRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) told BTA on Friday morning.

It is snowing above 2,000 m in the mountains. The facilities in some of the resorts are working.

There have been no incidents involving tourists over the past twenty-four hours.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts cloudy weather in the mountains with frequent showers of rain, and above 2,000 meters above sea level - mostly snow.
