The Bulgarian city of Sofia and Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City exchanged letters of intent for cooperation on Wednesday. Sofia Mayor Vassil Terziev and Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Municipal People’s Committee, exchanged the documents in the presence of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen. Terziev is part of a Bulgarian delegation to Vietnam, led by President Radev.
On Monday, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the city of Ruse and the People's Committee of Can Tho.
Earlier on Wednesday, the last day of Radev’s trip to Singapore and Vietnam, the Bulgarian head of State conferred with Nguyen Van Nen.
Radev is accompanied by Bulgarian business representatives from the fields of information and high technologies, defence, automotive and transport sectors, engineering, etc. The delegation led by him includes caretaker Education and Science Minister Galin Tsokov, Innovation and Growth Minister Rosen Karadimov, Tourism Minister Evtim Miloshev, and mayors of Bulgarian municipalities. The President is also accompanied by his spouse, Desislava Radeva.
