A new European party "Europe of Sovereign Nations" is to be established, Vazrazhdane announced at a press conference at the party's headquarters on Saturday.

"The chairperson of this political party is to be elected. We have reached an agreement that Stanislav Stoyanov will be the chairman of the new group," said Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov.

"A European party "Europe of sovereign nations" is to be created. Our project has a long-term perspective. Our ambition is to grow", said Rene Aust - chairman of the new group in the EP "Europe of Sovereign Nations".

He declared his support for Stanislav Stoyanov as the future chairman of the party.

We want this party to establish itself permanently in European life. European citizens deserve to be represented fairly, Stanislav Stoyanov, MEP from Vazrazhdane, said. He pointed out that the election of the new leadership is imminent.

The new party includes representatives from Bulgaria, Germany, Lithuania , the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Poland. Negotiations are underway to expand the party and the group in the European Parliament, he added.
