The total number of court cases filed electronically has exceeded 13,700 in 18 months, Information Services reported. The company completed a project in March 2023 to streamline the eJustice Portal, allowing citizens to file lawsuits online.

Since the start of the year, the number of cases filed through the portal is more than 10,500, which is three times more than the whole of last year. An increasing number of people are using the service. The portal has more than 19,000 active users.

More than 160,000 procedural actions have been carried out by filing documents entirely electronically. More than 38,000 electronic summons have been read through user profiles, a significant increase compared to the previous eight years.

Lawyers and litigants have successfully filed more than 164,000 electronic documents in 151 courts across the country.

Data shows that accesses to electronic court filings through the eJustice Portal jumped 130% between January and September 2024 year-on-year. The total number of accesses in the last 18 months reached 340,000.

The mobile app eCase has been developed as part of the project to provide traceability of court case history. More than 530,000 open user sessions have been registered since the app went live a year ago.
