The 8th Tsarski Selo Festival will take place from September 20 to 30 in Sofia's Tsarsko Selo Resort Ballroom, said the organisers from New Symphony Orchestra. This year's traditional foreign guest performance will be by String Quarter Zeide from France, who will play music by Schubert and Bela Bartok on September 30.

On September 22, a string quartet from the New Symphony Orchestra will perform music by Haydn and Borodin.

On September 24, the ClassicArt string quartet, featuring clarinettist Yavor Dobrev and French horn player Mihail Mihaylov, will perform String Quartet No. 3 by Marin Goleminov and Mozart's French Horn and Clarinet Quintets.

The festival originated from the International Conducting Academy and Festival, which was held annually from 2003 to 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the initiative. However, the festival part continued, the organisers said.
