An ongoing investigation into a burglary at the Bulgarian Consulate General of the Republic in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, continues to develop, the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

On September 2, the Foreign Ministry said there was a break-in at the Bulgarian Consulate General in Dubai outside of working hours.

After a thorough initial inspection of the premises and inventory, it has been confirmed that all communication and visa systems are fully intact and operational. The staff have resumed their duties, and the consulate is now operating under its regular working hours and conditions.

Investigative efforts are ongoing, with the Bulgarian delegation offering the necessary support to the relevant local authorities to establish all details pertaining to the incident, the Foreign Ministry said.
