The traffic at the border crossing checkpoints with Bulgaria's neighbouring countries is normal on Tuesday morning, Border Police said.

On the border with Romania, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, a temporary traffic organisation has been introduced, and traffic is restricted to one lane, regulated by traffic lights. In addition to the Ruse checkpoint, drivers in the region can also head to the border crossing points of Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two have opening hours from 8:00 to 20:00 every day and no trucks are allowed through them.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points on the border with Greece.

In view of the significantly increased number of Romanian tourists travelling to and from Greece passing through the Kulata and Makaza BCPs, travellers are advised to use alternative crossing points at the Bulgarian-Greek border, which are less congested and allow faster crossing. Only cars and vans are allowed to pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

Traffic is also normal on the border with North Macedonia.

Due to planned repairs at the Gyueshevo checkpoint, crossing it may take longer than usual.

On the border with Turkiye, traffic is also normal at all border crossing points.
