site.btaDefence Minister Zapryanov Would Agree to Stay On in Next Caretaker Government

Speaking to reporters in Sofia on Thursday, caretaker Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov said he would accept if asked to stay on in the next caretaker government. At Sofia's Military Medical Academy, he attended a ceremony commemorating the memory of all medics, nurses, police officers, volunteers and citizens who have died saving lives.

"I would stay on in the next cabinet as a defence minister. I am ready to do my duty, what I have been doing for more than 50 years - to serve the country and work for the army," Zapryanov said.
