The caretaker cabinet will hold its regular weekly meeting on Wednesday, the press service of the Council of Ministers said. 

The agenda includes the adoption of a decision on the provision of exempted state reserves of bottled water for drinking purposes at the request of the mayor of the municipality of Svishtov. The aid is to overcome the consequences of the declared state of disaster on the territory of the villages of Ovcha Mogila and Hadzhidmitrovo, Svishtov municipality.

A report on information on the cash execution of the state budget and the main indicators of the consolidated fiscal programme for the first half of 2024 is also part of the agenda of the meeting. 

The caretaker government will also discuss the approval of additional transfers to municipal budgets for 2024 to compensate parents for the costs incurred in May - June 2024 for the care and education of children who are not enrolled in state or municipal kindergartens or schools due to lack of available places.

Cabinet is also to approve assistance to applicants under the programme for humanitarian assistance to displaced persons from Ukraine granted temporary protection in Bulgaria, adopted by a decision of the Council of Ministers in 2022, and a draft decree on the approval of additional expenditure under the budget of the Ministry of Tourism for 2024.
