Vazrazhdane has urged Bulgarian officials and the Bulgarian Olympic Committee to boycott the closing ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris. In a statement, the party says that the opening ceremony of the Games, as well as a number of sporting events, most notably some of the women's boxing bouts, showed that the emphasis at this Olympics is not at all on sporting achievement and the strength of the human spirit.

It turns out that the most important thing for the organizers of the current Olympic Games is to reinforce the doctrines that the dominant ideology of the day is constantly pushing on us, namely gender cliches, the mockery of Christian values, the notion that the natural world does not matter and therefore everyone can present themselves as they feel. That is why absurdities are being created, where athletes with obvious male characteristics are posing as women and in the boxing ring are beating real women without any problem.

A similar call has been made by Our Homeland Movement (Hungary) and the Republic Movement (Slovakia) from the Europe of Sovereign Nations group that was set up in the European Parliament on the initiative of Vazrazhdane.
